Since we advise many international clients, excellent English language skills are essential.

Research Assistant (m/f/d)

“Sustainability and product compliance”

Your responsibilities:

• You will support our team in their daily client work, particularly in the areas of sustainability and product compliance.

• You will research legal issues and contribute to briefs, statements, and legal opinions.

• You will support our team with academic publications and presentations.

What you bring to the table:

• Your legal achievements to date are above average; ideally, you have already successfully completed your first state law exam.

• You have a strong understanding of economics.

• You are interested in the areas of sustainability and product compliance and would like to develop professionally and personally in this field.

• Business fluent English skills are important for your work with us.

• You enjoy putting your professional skills, creativity, and commitment into practice.

What we offer you

At Cattwyk, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with current, dynamic areas of law in a highly specialized and qualified environment. You will be part of our team from the very beginning and will be involved in client work. A personal mentor will be available to support you and answer any questions you may have.

It is important to us that during your legal traineeship you have enough time to prepare for your state examinations. We give you the necessary flexibility to do this and also support you with free Kaiserseminare. We will also cover the costs of your Examenskoffer.

Who we are looking for

We are constantly looking for legally outstanding and motivated trainee lawyers, research assistants and interns who want to make an active contribution. We expect an in-depth interest in EU law and international (trade) policy matters and welcome young colleagues who want to think outside the box and familiarize themselves with new and dynamic areas of law.
