ESG & Trade Talks – May 2026

On May 4, 2026, the European Commission published its long-awaited simplification package for the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). The package includes a review report, updated guidelines and FAQs, and a draft delegated act with proposed changes to the substantive scope of the Regulation.

In the ESG & Trade Talks session on May 12, 2026,  from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., will provide a compact update on simplifying the EU Deforestation Regulation.
In particular, we will look at the delegated act adapting Annex I, new FAQs and adapted guidelines, and the simplification report.
