36th EFA Conference

On June 26 and 27, 2025, the 36th meeting of the European Forum for Foreign Trade e.V. (EFA) takes place in Linz.

Under the title “World Economy in Transition — Free Trade, Regionalization, De-Globalization? “The focus is on current developments in international trade. Experts from business, administration and science discuss legal, economic and political issues relating to customs, foreign trade and trade policy. Our partner Dr. Lothar Harings opens the conference as EFA chairman and moderates expert panels, including on amendments to the Union Customs Code, sanctions and export control.

In the “Customs and Sustainability” panel, Dr. Julia Hörnig provides information as an expert about the EUDR and new requirements for corporate due diligence obligations. Our managing directors Dr. Katja Göcke, Franziska Kaiser and Marian Niestedt are also on site. We are looking forward to exchanging ideas with all participants!
