Lukas Willmer specializes in trade compliance and economic security and advises on all aspects of foreign trade law. His practice focuses on questions about European export control law, embargoes and sanctions as well as customs law.

Lukas Willmer studied law at Humboldt-University Berlin as well as at King’s College London and is currently finalizing his dissertation on recognition of governments in international law at Humboldt-University. During his legal clerkship in Berlin, he worked at the German Federal Foreign Office and the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations in New York.
